Designed to fit perfectly within a kitchen extension, this dining table was made to a very slightly narrow proportion, measuring 210cm in length and 75cm in width. The precise dimensions allowed the customer to maximise the available space while maintaining comfortable seating.
The chosen style was our Scandinavian-inspired ATO 55 in solid oak. While the standard design features a 24mm thick top, the customer preferred the look of a 30mm profile. To achieve this more substantial appearance without increasing cost or weight, we added a false edge to the underside, creating the impression of a thicker top around the perimeter. Our method of blending this edge frame ensures the transition is virtually undetectable.
To maximise seating, the table was paired with two benches in a similar style. We produced a pair of solid oak Complement 45 benches, creating a cohesive set that works seamlessly within the space.
While we offered to arrange delivery (we can deliver across Great Britain), the customers, based in Bruton, Somerset, decided to collect their table as they had access to a van and this was a more cost-effective option.
