The standard thicknesses of the material we use to make tables from are 24mm and 30mm. Thinner or thicker tops are available as custom orders and sometimes additional thickness an be achieved by adding a deeper edge around the entire perimeter of the top.
The frame that runs borders the edge in the extra thick tables gives the desired appearance but keeps the cost of material used – as well as the weight – significantly lower.
