ATO Legs
ATO custom table legs are 90 degrees to the top along one edge and tapered in toward the foot on the other. The straight side has a slight roundover to soften the appearance. It is a distinctly Scandinavian look with elements of mid-century modern – ideal if you’re after tapered oak table legs.
Wing Legs
Wing custom table legs are similar in appearance to ATO, but they are angled as well as tapered. Being set at an angle makes them distinctive and modern while the solid oak retain a classic natural feel. Usually these would be placed further inset on a table than the ATO in order that the legs do not protude beyond the top of the table. It is a great option if you want angled oak table legs.
Stadium Legs
Stadium custom table legs were named due to their pairing with the top of the Stadium 300 table, however we think they bear a strong resemblance to a lolly stick. The rounded foot of the Stadium leg is key to the design, giving it a far more organic look than were it to simply square off at the base. The edges on both sides are rounded too for greater effect, making them a great choice for organic shaped table legs.
Element Legs
Element custom table legs are visually very different to our other in-house designs, and are really a tribute – and alternative – to metal box section legs. The cuboid shape offers a slightly industrial tone, making them ideal if you’re after industrial style wood table legs, whereas the setting in their block at an angle provides a less boxy, more intentionally designed flair.

Custom legs with bespoke heights
The standard default heights (without rubber bumper) are 71cm, which is suitable for dining tables and desks, but we also make custom height table legs.
We realise that there are many reasons why you may want table legs at a different height:
- The customer may be of above average height and therefore require more leg room
- The customer may be of below average height and find a shorter dining table or desk more comfortable
- The table may be used in conjunction with banquette seating which is often higher than a typical chair
- The legs may be needed for a lower piece of furniture, such as a coffee table, side table or bench.

Customising the colour/finish
One of the most visually impactful ways to customise our table legs is to change their colour, either though the use of a tinted finish (typically hardwax oil or varnish), a wood dye/stain or paint – including painted oak table legs where you want a bold, modern look.
If you are looking for a particular colour from a brand like Farrow and Ball, Little Greene or Dulux (among others) we can paint the legs accordingly. RAL colours are a popular choice too.
If there is a colour/finish you would like to achieve but don’t have an exact reference for it, let us know and we can work with you to get it as close as possible through a process of trying out mixes and sending samples.

How to attach our in-house designed table legs
All of our table legs feature a mounting block which is permanently attached to the leg and has four pre-drilled clearance holes of 7mm diameter. This means that you can use a screw of 5mm diameter to go through them and be confident that there is enough clearance to allow for a little natural wood movement in the table top – helpful if you’re fitting table legs for an existing tabletop.

Designing your own table legs and bases
Often we are approached by customers who have been inspired by a design for a wooden table legs or bases that they have found online – or created with assistance from AI. While we would not make a direct copy of a designer’s existing idea, we are happy to work with you to create made to measure table legs and bases that are ideally tailored to your project.

This modern design was created by the customer with help from an architect friend. The base is essentially a hollow box made of solid oak with a bottom section in doubled-up hardwood plywood for additional stability, creating a strong solid oak table base for a bespoke project.
There is something familiar and appealing to many about a farmouse style table. The customer wanted a farmhouse look but in an easty to assemble flat packed format. We were able to use ‘knock-down’ legs which come apart in the middle to allow for easy transportation and assembly — ideal for handmade table legs UK orders that need simpler delivery and setup.
The owner of a central London audio production company wanted a curved look to the end support of their custom desk. We provided a selection of designs with different wavy lines, creating a distinctive solution for custom desk legs, from which they chose their favourite.
