How Does The Fit Work?
To make installation simple, every desk top is supplied plain (undrilled).
This gives you full flexibility to fit your top to any frame — whether that’s a Flexispot or another setup. You (or your installer) will need to drill the fixing holes during installation, ensuring they’re positioned exactly where you need them.
Each top is precision-sized and finished, so once mounted, you’ll get a secure fit and a seamless look.

Our tops are 100% solid hardwood (oak, walnut, pine, etc.), not veneers or MDF. This means better durability, the ability to sand out scratches, and a more premium, long-lasting finish.
Flexispot frames (E7, E8, EC1, EG8, etc.) are built with strength in mind. While solid wood adds weight, we advise staying within recommended dimensions and thicknesses (usually up to 30-32mm) so the motors and lift system perform optimally.
Yes. We offer pre-drilled tops with hole patterns matching common Flexispot models, making installation quick & accurate. If your setup is unusual, we also offer plain/undrilled tops so you or a local fitter can do custom drilling.
That depends on how large your desk is and what you’ll use it for. For example:

Smaller desks (e.g. 48-60 cm depth) do well with 18-22 mm solid wood.

Larger spans, heavy monitors, or clamp accessories benefit from 25-32 mm or more.
Thickness also influences stability, appearance, and weight.
We offer several finishes: natural oil (warm, more natural look), hard wax oil (durable satin finish), and lacquer (highest protection, easy to maintain). All finishes protect against everyday wear, spills, and changes in humidity.
Simple steps: clean with a soft damp cloth, avoid harsh chemicals, wipe up spills quickly. Periodically, you may re-oil or wax the surface depending on the finish to restore luster and protection. Avoid extreme moisture or temperature swings to prevent warping.
Solid wood is natural and can respond to changes in humidity or heat. We build in allowances for this: using properly dried wood, correct finishing, and offering thicker options for less bowing. If you ever get noticeable warping outside of normal behavior, we’ll work with you for repair or replacement depending on the case.
Lead-time depends on your custom choices (wood type, finish, special edge, drilling). Typical build & shipping is around 2-4 weeks. We ship across the UK (or globally if applicable). Delivery includes safe packaging; for very large or thick tops, special handling/pallet options may apply.
