This round solid oak table top was designed to fit over an existing square table, allowing the restaurant to accommodate larger groups of diners without having to replace existing furniture.
It provided a practical and flexible way to increase seating capacity, with the round top easily added or removed to suit different table arrangements and party sizes.
A simple timber frame on the underside fits around the existing square table top, with rotating wooden toggles securing the round top in place without the need for permanent fixings.
The top was handmade from premium full-stave 19m solid oak and finished in a dark tinted hardwax oil.
