What thickness are your table tops?

The standard thicknesses of the material we use to make tables from are 24mm and 30mm. We also make tops in 19mm and 40mm but these usually take a bit longer to make as we do not usually stock those thicknesses.

You can order samples of 24mm and 30mm oak in different colour finishes.

Bespoke thicknesses (e.g. 27mm, 35mm and so on) are often available as custom orders. In these cases, the additional thickness can be achieved by adding a ‘false edge’ around the entire perimeter of the top underside. This techique gives the desired appearance while keeping down the cost of material used – as well as reducing the weight of the table top.

This table top uses a ‘false edge’ to create the impression of it being 40mm thick but it is mostly only 24mm
