Delivery and Collection

All of our furniture is made by hand in our workshop, so we are highly invested in making sure the delivery is handled with maximum care and attention. Depending on the size of the item and where you are located, we use a few different delivery methods.

Customers are also very welcome to collect their orders directly from our shop, or arrange their own courier if they prefer.

Please note: most of our standard tables and desks are delivered ‘flat packed’ to make them easier to transport – they will require assembly at home by the customer. This is a simple process that just involves attaching the legs with a cross head screwriver. Benches and some smaller coffee tables will be pre-assembled.

Delivery of tables, desks and table tops

Large pieces such as full tables, desks and table tops are delivered by van courier. The exact method depends on whether you are located in Greater London or elsewhere in mainland Great Britain.

Greater London (within the M25)

For customers within the M25 we use a trusted local independent van courier.

In most cases the furniture is delivered without packaging. This helps keep costs down and avoids unnecessary packaging waste. Because we work with reliable local drivers who regularly transport furniture, we can do this with confidence that your table will be handled carefully.

Delivery within London is charged at cost price, which is typically between £30 and £60 depending on the distance.

If you are very close to our workshop — for example within a few streets — we may sometimes be able to deliver on foot for a reduced fee.

Mainland Great Britain, outside Greater London

For customers elsewhere in Great Britain we use a well-established nationwide van courier service.

Although we are based in London, a large number of our orders are sent to customers throughout mainland UK, including cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Newcastle.

With this delivery method the furniture travels through a courier network, meaning it is first taken from our workshop to a warehouse and then sent on to the final address over the following day or so. Because of this, the table needs to be securely packaged before collection.

We package tables using high impact resistant honeycomb cardboard inside L-shaped corner protectors to protect the edges, and corrugated cardboard sheets to protect the faces of the table tops.

We charge £10 to cover the time and materials required for packaging. The courier itself is charged at cost price and typically ranges between £60 and £100 depending on the location.

Delivery of smaller items

Smaller items such as monitor risers, serving boards, or table legs ordered on their own are sent via standard parcel couriers.

We typically use services such as Royal Mail, DPD, DHL or UPS depending on the size of the parcel and the destination.

Postage is charged at cost price, plus a small £3–£5 fee to cover packaging time and materials. This delivery method is available anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Collecting from our workshop

Customers are always welcome to collect their furniture directly from our workshop at no charge.

You are welcome to collect in person, or arrange for a courier or van service to collect on your behalf. Many customers choose this option if they already have a preferred courier.

Because our working hours can vary, please get in touch before arriving so we can confirm that someone will be there. This is particularly important if you are arranging a courier collection — please make sure the company can confirm their collection time in advance so that we can ensure someone is available to hand over the item.
