We custom made this desktop to fit our customer’s pre-purchased sit/stand desk frame.
There is a particular style of table edge popular with gamers that uses a cut out middle section to get them closer to the action.
Whilst the style is commonly found on gaming desks, this was intended to be used for working from home as well and the drawers were required for paperwork and stationery.
The customer requested several features including a heavily sloping front edge for maximum comfort where the arm meets the surface, plus a monitor riser mounted on small drawers.
There is a notch at the back which helps cables to be managed neatly and easily.
The gaming desk surface and the monitor riser are made from solid oak with a tinted hardwax oil finish (apart from the drawers which are birch plywood stained to match).
